Heart Arrow Ranch

The Heart Arrow Ranch is located on Mendocino County’s northern hillsides near the Russian River’s headwaters. The native Pomo Indians hunted and gathered on these hillsides for thousands of years before settlers claimed the land as their home and converted it into a sheep and cattle ranch.  Joe and Julie Golden now own and farm Heart Arrow with the help of longtime Biodynamic viticulturist Jerry Yates. Less than sixty acres of this historic ranch are planted to red wine varietals, and all of those acres are farmed according to organic and Biodynamic® practices.
